Sunday School
Sunday School sessions for children take place every Sunday morning from 9:30 to 10:30. They are tailored to various age groups and cater to the specific needs of children at different stages of development. The Nursery area hosts engaging sessions for children aged 3 to 5, including preschool and kindergarten classes. Meanwhile, children in grades 1-2 and 3-5 can look forward to interactive and informative classes in the dedicated children's classroom.
Nursery
Our church offers a safe and nurturing nursery for children from birth to preschool during Sunday School, Sunday Worship, and special events. Gina Blansett, the director of nursery ministries, leads our dedicated team of volunteers and ensures that our youngest members are well-cared for and can participate in age-appropriate activities.
GLOW, Kids Wednesday Evening Program
Glow Kids is the Wednesday evening program offered for children in grades 1 - 5 during the school year. It meets at 6:30, following Our Flock Rocks Cafe. Various activities are provided for spiritual growth and learning the stories of the Bible.
Family Fun Night
Family Fun Night involves monthly activities to provide fellowship and spiritual growth for children and their parents or guardians. Some of these activities are seasonal (e.g., our annual Easter Egg hunt); others involve special outings and activities that the entire family can enjoy. Usually, these events are held on Saturdays, but exceptions occur throughout the year.
Acolytes
Acolytes serve in the Sanctuary during the service to "bring the light of Christ" to the altar as the service begins and "lead us forth with the light of Christ" as we proceed back into the world. Children are welcome to participate in the Acolyte program as their maturity level warrants. Please visit with Sheri or Pastor Greg for details about training opportunities.
