To help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Mother Road, TFR has put together a collection of music suitable for an epic road trip down Route 66!
Come and join us as we take you on a musical journey that has inspired so much music over the years.
We're going to cover some great songs, including Hail, Holy Queen from Sister Ac,t to get us on the road with an intercessory prayer, the get back On the Road Again with Willie and the boys, visit the iconic classic from Bobby Troup, (Get Your Kicks on) Route 66! and visit the north, east, south and west areas of our greaTo help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Mother Road, TFR has compiled a collection of music perfect for an epic road trip down Route 66!
Join us on a musical journey inspired by this iconic highway, which has influenced countless songs over the years.
We will kick off our journey with an intercessory prayer and cover some amazing tracks, including "Hail, Holy Queen" from Sister Act. Then, we'll get "On the Road Again" with Willie and the boys, and enjoy the classic “(Get Your Kicks on) Route 66” by Bobby Troup. We’ll explore the north, east, south, and west regions of our great country through music.
Setup begins at 3:30 PM in the Green Room of the Passages Classroom.
