I became a member of the church in 1985 and stepped into the role of Praise Team Leader in 2020.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with Tulsa Opera for four seasons, spending 14 years at First Methodist Tulsa and contributing two years at First United Methodist Tahlequah.

Leading others in worship is something I genuinely enjoy! To me, worship is a deeply vertical experience, and being able to share that with a church family that has watched me grow from infancy to adulthood is invaluable. I'm passionate about bringing contemporary music into church services, making it engaging and accessible for everyone.

Aside from my church commitments, I enjoy teaching third grade, attending concerts, sewing and crafting, shopping, spending time with my boys, and watching basketball games, both on TV and in person.

Mike and I have been happily married for 19 years, and together, we have two wonderful boys, Jake and Keyton, along with our four pets—three dogs and a cat. It's special that Mike and I were married at the church, just like my parents before us. With 18 years of teaching experience under my belt, I've spent 13 years as a music teacher and five years in third-grade education.
