I joined the church in 2015. My experiences within various faith communities have been diverse and fulfilling:

• Disciples in Christ, San Bernardino, California: 4th Grade Girls (1960 - 1963)
• First Baptist, Atlanta, Georgia: Adult Singles (1985 - 1987)
• Shepherd of the Hills, Van Nuys, California: Singles with Husband (1988 - 1990)
• Royce City Baptist Church, Royse City, Texas: Bible Study for Women (1995 - 2009)
• Sapulpa Methodist: Passages Class/Music Associate (Present)

Music, singing, and sharing the message of Christ with others are integral to my identity. 

I serve as the Treasurer for the Sapulpa Friends of the Sapulpa Library. I am also a member of the Oklahoma Eastern Star. I belong to three chapters, and I enjoy traveling with the ladies across the country and the state. In my free time, I enjoy playing board games, working on puzzles, taking walks, and writing music. I have participated in many mission trips to foreign countries, and I speak sign language, as well as some Spanish and Russian.

My husband passed away in 2011. I have a golden Labradoodle named Honey and a mischievous cat named Miz Bizy. I live with my daughter, Julie, her husband, and their son, Seth, on 40 acres in the woods down a dead-end dirt road. My daughter has two children and four grandchildren; my son has three sons but no grandchildren. Julie has a daughter with three daughters.
